TERMS OF SERVICE

Before Undergoing Alternative Therapy

Any or all of the holistic cupping therapies provided by The Cupping Wellness Clinic should not be used, or relied upon, as a substitute for professional diagnosis and treatment of either physical or mental health conditions. Always contact a physician such as your GP or other medically qualified health professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. The Cupping Wellness Clinic does not engage in the diagnosis of medical conditions and neither does it prescribe and/or advise on prescription medications.

Notifying Your GP or Doctor

All clients are responsible for notifying and discussing their suitability for undergoing alternative therapy with their licensed medical healthcare provider. Any responsibility post-therapy must be assumed by the client if they choose not to consult with their GP/doctor beforehand.

Assessments

All new clients are required to be over the age of 16 and complete a new patient form, a medical history form and undergo a medical assessment before they are treated. Not all clients may be suitable for wet cupping therapy. The Cupping Wellness Clinic reserves the right to refuse treatment where the risk to a client's health outweighs the benefit of treatment.

Pregnancy

It is highly recommended that women who are sexually active, carry out a pregnancy test prior to attending their therapy session – subsequently, clients who are pregnant must NOT undergo Hijama wet cupping therapy under any circumstances.

Menstruation

Dry cupping, moving cupping massage and facial cupping can all be performed while clients may be menstruating, but Hijama wet cupping therapy is recommended to be best avoided during this time. Under certain circumstances, it is still possible for Hijama wet cupping therapy to be preformed whilst menstruating, but it is advisable to consult with a fully qualified Hijama therapist to discuss any concerns before treatment is carried out.

Cancelling Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify the clinic at least 24 hours before your appointment time, either by calling us on 07707700050 or sending us an email at contact@thecuppingwellnessclinic.com or cuppingwellnessclinic@gmail.com

Disclaimer

The Cupping Wellness Clinic does not accept liability or expenses for any illness, injury or other untoward occurrence, arising and resulting from Hijama therapy or other treatments. Some minor side effects are to be expected, such as fatigue, soreness and/or bruising etc.
